Welcome to my 3D Printer (and related stuff) website. This was originally going to be a blog but it turns out that working on my printer is so time intensive I never did any blogging. So, instead the site just pulls together various material and notes I’ve written or discovered. Some of it is history of my build, some references to useful information I found and thought was helpful to group together, some is notes/theories that are up for discussion/comment.
The site is split up as follows:
- General Introduction to the RepRap 3D Printing: While ranting to people about the idea of 3-D printers and Reprap in particular I dip in and out of different websites. So, I thought I’d put all my favourite bits in one place.
- Visual history of my RepRap build: Photos & videos I made as a went along.
- Reprap Construction Notes: Here is information I found helpful as I was building and for reference after. It contains some basic info that is machine independent but also some (Sells) Mendel specific stuff.
- Calibration notes: Here are the notes and theories on how to be detailed calibration. Much is based on other peoples notes and more is made up by me (and hence, subject to discussion, comment & derision
- Problems & Solutions: Where I posted a problem or resolved an issue myself, the info is here so I don’t lose it
